Investing in yourself – do you value yourself more than your next smartphone?

When was the last time you spent money without much hesitation on something that just felt good at the time – but didn’t really change your life?

A new smartphone. A fancy short trip. A new piece of furniture that makes your living room look exciting for the next three weeks and then disappears from view.

How easy do you find it to invest in yourself?

Many people who come to me for coaching tell me essentially the same thing in our first session: “I know something has to change – but I don’t know where to start.” And this is precisely where the real difference lies between short-term gratification and personal development.

A new product makes your life more comfortable. Personal coaching changes the way you think, make decisions, treat yourself – and ultimately, how you shape your life.

Personal growth is not a DIY project
You read books. You listen to podcasts. You save inspiring quotes. And yet, deep down, you’re going round in circles. Not because you don’t know enough. But because you’re left to grapple with your issues alone.

Change doesn’t come from more input – but from genuine engagement. From honest questions. From a space where you’re allowed to think out loud. And from someone who doesn’t just agree with you, but challenges you lovingly. That is precisely the role of private coaching.

In almost every area of life, we seek support from professionals.
If your back hurts, you don’t spend three months researching on YouTube – you go to a physiotherapist. If you need to repair your car, you go to a garage. Yet when it comes to their personal development, many believe they have to manage it alone.

Yet we are not self-optimisation machines. We are social beings. Development arises through dialogue. In the mirror. In an honest conversation with another person.

Private coaching is therefore, above all, one thing: a safe space where you are allowed to be yourself – without playing a role, without the pressure of expectations, without comparison.

My coaching is not about self-optimisation
I don’t work with standard programmes or motivational slogans.

One-to-one coaching is about you. About your story. Your questions. Your doubts. Your goals – and sometimes also about the mental blocks you’ve been carrying around with you for far too long.

Some clients come because they’re stuck in their careers. Others because they realise they’ve lost themselves somewhere along the way. Still others are at a turning point and feel: I don’t want to carry on as I have been. What unites them isn’t their problem – but their desire to reconnect with themselves more clearly.

I don’t see life as a project to boost performance, but as an adventure of self-discovery. Ups, downs and turning points are what make it worth living and loving. And it is precisely this attitude that shapes my work.

Perhaps the most important question …
… is not primarily: “How much does coaching cost?” But rather: What will it cost you if you wait another year?

Another year with the same inner conflicts.
Another year of making decisions out of uncertainty.
Another year with the feeling that more is actually possible – but you don’t know exactly how to get there.

Private coaching doesn’t just accompany you for a weekend.
It has an impact on your conversations. On your relationships. On your work. On your self-image. And often long after the final session is over. And sometimes it marks the start of a completely new chapter.

That is the difference.

If you feel that you’ve reached a point where you’d like more clarity, more inner stability and more self-direction, then I warmly invite you to book a personal introductory session with me.

Not because there is something ‘wrong’ with you. But because you are worth valuing yourself.
